It’s been just over a week since I’ve moved to NYC and I honestly can’t believe I live here. Waking up in the Big Apple every morning feels so surreal — seeing all the tourists in my neighborhood, who’ve come to New York from all over the world, really puts into perspective how special this place truly is.
Since moving to NYC, one big step for me in “adulting” is learning how to cook! Cooking for one is not the easiest or most fun thing to do, but it’s an important part of living on your own. With a full time job and long hours, I know I’ll be too tired to cook a proper and healthy dinner at night. One of my favorite recipes to make is sautéed kale and brussels sprouts – it’s SO easy and quick, and not to mention nutritious!
