Today’s the first snow of the season here in NYC!! Part of me is still in denial because fall is my favorite season and I’m not quite ready for it to end. We had a super late fall here (peak foliage was Thanksgiving!) so luckily I had plenty of time to be #basic and do all the cheesy fall things. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Recipe: Zucchini Bread

Growing up, zucchini bread was a staple in our house come fall and winter. As kids, we could never remember how to say “zucchini,” so we ended up calling it “squash cake.” While that might sound gross, give an eight year old anything with the word “cake” in it and they’ll eat it — and love it.

No white after Labor Day is the fashion rule I always break. White is one of those colors that will forever be in my wardrobe because I feel that it goes well with so many different color palettes. I love how it makes an outfit look more chic and fresh, without trying too hard.
