I may be a city girl, but the ocean has my heart. I like to think that in another lifetime, I’d be living in a cottage by the sea, probably with a dog and a belly full of lobster rolls, oysters, and local homemade ice cream. Ok, maybe in 50 years… but for now, you can find me working as a consultant in NYC and attempting to adult my way through this post-grad life!
Whether you’re taking a girls trip, going on a foodie tour, or simply escaping the brutal Northeast winters, Charleston is the place to be. This charming city had me at pastel houses, but the warm temperatures, blooming flowers, and delicious food options convinced me to book a flight.
With fall just around the corner, I wanted to savor the last few days of summer by going fruit picking in Upstate New York. We decided to do a little spin on the traditional fall festivities of apple picking and go peach picking instead. I’m actually more of a peach person and was so happy that there were a few crops of peaches left at the end of the season! Fruit and flower picking is something I’ve wanted to do forever, but never got a chance to do so. I couldn’t be more excited to make the drive up to Dubois Farms over Labor Day weekend.
