Since moving to NYC, one big step for me in “adulting” is learning how to cook! Cooking for one is not the easiest or most fun thing to do, but it’s an important part of living on your own. With a full time job and long hours, I know I’ll be too tired to cook a proper and healthy dinner at night. One of my favorite recipes to make is sautéed kale and brussels sprouts – it’s SO easy and quick, and not to mention nutritious!
All you need is a handful of kale and brussels sprouts. I chopped the veggies up into smaller pieces so that they’re easier to cook. Just sautée with a little bit of olive oil, add salt and pepper to taste, drizzle with sriracha, and you’re good to go!
Also, how adorable is this pig cutting board?! It certainly makes cooking more enjoyable. I got it at TJ Maxx but you can find a similar one here.
