The weather is getting cooler, leaves are changing color, boots are out.. it’s beginning to look a lot like fall! Autumn is my favorite season and it’s especially beautiful here in New England.
It’s my last year living in Boston so I feel like I need to go out and visit all the places on my bucket list before I leave! One such place is the swings on Lawn on D. It’s a bit far out in South Boston but I’ve been wanting to go for years. These circle swings are so cute and comfy – if only I could take one home with me! We arrived at the perfect time, just when they started to light up. Who doesn’t love glowing swings?
While my fall wardrobe usually consists of neutral and dark colors, we finally had a sunny day after a week of rain and gray skies. I couldn’t help but pull out the bright colors!
I love this flowy BCBG top – it’s so comfortable and the geometric color blocking is definitely the highlight of the piece. While the front was a bit low, I paired it with a light blue tank top that perfectly matched the straps, making it look even more geometric than it already is, ha! The coral color is also so beautiful, especially in the summer and fall.
I’ve also been obsessed with over-the-knee boots this season. Who says petite girls can’t wear them? Personally I think that they make legs look longer and are quite flattering. I got these Steve Madden boots two springs ago for only $20… 80% off the clearance rack at DSW, talk about a steal!!
