Recipe: Flour Bakery’s Banana Bread

Last year, my friend Elle introduced me to Flour Bakery in Boston and now it is one of my go-to places to eat when in town.

Ironically, I absolutely HATE bananas (I can’t even be near one because the smell bothers me!!) but I LOVE Flour’s banana bread. You can imagine how happy I was when I found their recipe! I modified it a bit so it’s fluffier and not as sweet. Enjoy! 馃檪

Banana Bread

Prep time: 20 min

Bake time: 40 min-1 hr

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 and 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 – 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

Use a mixer to mix all the ingredients (dry ingredients first, followed by liquid) at low/medium speed. Add the bananas in the end, and bake at 350掳 for 40-60 minutes. It’s as easy as that!
