This past Monday was the Boston Marathon, and it’s one of my favorite days of the year. We have this fun tradition at school to cheer on the runners as they pass by — I love watching them because they’re so inspiring! It’s beautiful to see people from all over the world come together and support one another. I think we can all agree that there could be a lot more love in the world.

Tale as Old as Time

If I had one regret in college, it would be that I didn’t go out and explore more of Boston. Especially in my first two years, I was so caught up in academics or too dependent on friends to do things with me that I ended up just staying on campus all the time. It wasn’t until I went abroad that I learned the importance of “me” time and doing things just for yourself.

Spring Stripes

Anyone else feel like the weather in Boston has been crazy lately? It was raining all last week and then yesterday it was the most beautiful day out, 80º and sunny. Now we’re back to gray skies and colder temperatures, and I for one can’t wait until it’s finally spring! They say April showers bring May flowers and I am counting down the days until the flowers bloom!
